Jeff,

I would never intentionally sell you a puppy or dog who had hip dysplasia. We have all of our breeding stock checked and only use dogs in our program who have a - normal or excellent hip scores.

I am not doubting your statement that Bullet has hip dysplasia(though I have seen no proof) as all the careful breeding in the world can not prevent this from ever happening to any single dog as this is a problem that plagues this breed. I can say with 100% certainty that If you actually submit his hip x - rays for formal evaluation by the OFA and they are indeed deemed to be genetic and not unilateral and environmental HD caused by slick floors, stairs and excess weight at a young age, then Bullet will have the first documented case of HD to ever come from my kennel.

You purchased an 8 week old puppy. No one can guarantee without a doubt that there will absolutely never be an issue as puppies are an open book with their stories to be written after they leave the home of their breeder.

I am very disappointed that you did not contact me first so I could communicate with you directly instead of reading this on my guest book page.

No matter what you believe, I am a responsible breeder and will fully back my contract. That is all a responsible breeder can do, provide a good contract and stand by it.  By the way, You never signed and submitted that contract I sent with Bullet's registration and book.

I might note that out of 139 comments on my guest book spanning 5 years, yours is the only negative comment.

I understand your anger but I wish you would please contact me directly. I would really like to see the OFA or PennHip report from those x rays. Even a good Veterinarian's opinion is no substitute for submission of the actual formal evaluation and documentation.

Most Sincerely,

Jennifer Owner - Vom Mystical Haus Shepherds

Just got back from the vet, and the dog you sold me has hip displasia, and a flattening of the hip joint bone. (Bullet was his name)

I will never buy another dog from you again, and you can bet your ass I will be posting this to everyone I know, including my blogs, website, and Facebook pages.

We specifically used your service so that we would not have to go through watching another one of our dogs suffer. Nice job of putting us, and the dog through the same agony.

DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Hey Jen! We made it home safely, and Minka and Angel are doing great together. It was such a pleasure to meet you and your dogs. I wish we could have stayed longer, but time is always an issue. Minka is sooo adorable. I can allready tell that she is a good dog. I would like to thank you for what you do, and tell you how much I appreciate what you have given us! We now have two wonderful pups, and we love them very much!

Thank you again and best wishes,

Christina and Zack

Hey There!

I'm just another fan of the GSD surfin' the web and somehow wound up at your site.  Good fortune that I did.  Truly one of the best breeder websites that I have had the pleasure of exploring!  Great design and layout and your photographs of the dogs, especially the puppies, are really nice.  I've got GSD number 4 right now and hopefully we will be spending a few more years together before I start to look for number 5.  Anyhow, thanks for making such a cool site!  Best of luck to you in your breeding!

Emilia (or as we renamed her, Asha) is doing great! We'd really love to schedule a little reunion with her litter mates and/or parents one of these days. If anyone from Cora & Hessel's litter reads this, feel free to email us at shae.esola@gmail.com! Here's a picture of her at about 4 months!

Lexa is doing great at 2 yrs old! We have plenty of turkey's, squirrels, raccoon, birds, deer, possum, cats, dogs, far away neighbors, plenty of ground to explore to keep her entertained! I feel she loves her home and family to death, as we do her!  She is the best protector and I always feel safe, with her by my side!  Love her to pieces!
