Honor Vom Mystical Haus "Jackson"

Hi Jennifer,
How are you? I hope things are going well.
Things here are going great. INSANE but great. We are in the process of moving...packing, endless paperwork, arrangements and dog training! Never a dull moment.
I thought I would send you a couple of pictures of our sweet little guy. He is doing great. He is a VERY smart puppy. These were taken right around his 3 month birthday. The date on the photos say 5/18 but I am not sure if that is exact. It is very close though. He is such a handsome boy. Everyone who sees him talks about how handsome he is.
Thanks,
Kimberly
Emilia Vom Mystical Haus " Asha"
Jennifer,
Training is going well! Her personality comes out more and more every day. Took her to the vet yesterday to get her nails trimmed, and she's 53lbs!! She's getting to be such a big girl. Most of her big girl teeth have also started to come in. She's recently discovered her jaw power, and likes to chew on jolly balls (the actual ball part, she likes when air blows through the hole into her mouth!). She LOVES sticks. I mean loves them. She stock piles them in the yard as she finds them. She also loves to chase water from the hose. Have you received any updates on her siblings? Here's a new picture of her. LOL. :)
-Shae
Hi Jennifer!
I just wanted to give you an update on Leigha.
She just turned 8 months and is 73 lbs! She started her obedience training last week , did fairly well other than wanting to bark at the other puppies! Most of what we did last week I had already taught her but we sharpened what she was doing and learned a few new things. She has been taking her job as guard dog seriously! She is SO proud of her self when she does it!
The biting and jumping is getting better- that is the "bad behavior " I am focusing on right now. We finally can love her like we want to! She is doing so much better!
I have been watching your site for all of your pups and updates! Maybe in a few years we will have her in a place where MAYBE I can get another! She loves other dogs so much and once she is trained would help in training another!
Just wanted to give you an update! The kids have become ALMOST as attached to her as I ..almost! haha!
Thanks!

Amberr Vom Mystical Haus " Ida"
HI Jennifer,
First and foremost I would like to apologize not remembering to contact in regards to Ida (Amberr) that you sold to me in September 2009. I would like to say how well she is doing and how amazing a dog She is. Ida has been the most wonderful addition to our family as a pet or I should just say another child, she is great. I’m attaching a couple of pictures of her that I have at the moment, I will be sending you some more very soon. I also will be sending you documentation on her being spayed. I would like to send my thanks to you For raising such an amazing dog.
I will be looking to you in the near future for another shepherd to add to my family.
Kenneth Woodcock
Farah Vom Mystical Haus "Chyna"
Been meaning to write and send you some pictures of Chyna (Farah) but the princess always has me to busy I forget. Hope all is well with your family and dogs.
Chyna is doing very well. Four and a half months tomorrow, and she was 29.6 pounds at the vet on Monday. She's definitely "high maintenance" :), but a lot of fun. Let's just say I don't have a reason to be bored anymore. She still has the pink bone toy you gave her when she left and she sleeps with it every night. Her favorite toy is the tennis ball, she'll chase a ball all day if she could. She also really loves stuffed animals I keep a big one in each of her crates, she surprisingly doesn't tear them up. I was fortunate to find a really good trainer who specializes is shepherds and does a lot of work with police dogs and the Maryland rescues to train dogs. He took one look at her, and has been trying to "steal" her from me every since :). She's in his puppy class now, but he says her drives are so strong I could do anything with her. She's going to start training to compete in Schutzhund when she's about six months, right now we just started doing rag work with her. She has sooo much energy so i'm sure it will be a good outlet for her.
She's a very happy smart puppy. Mischievous at times, but what puppy isn't :). We're definitely going to have a lot of fun together. Thanks again. I've attached some pictures as well.
Sincerely,
Ashley Solomon
Echo Vom Mystical Haus
Jennifer,
Good morning.
This is Todd McClellan. I am the "VERY" proud owner of Echo. He is a full grown young man as I am sure can imagine. He is everything that I was expecting when I got him from you. He is very loving, yet very protective when the time is needed. Again... I couldn't have asked from more. Echo truly is the perfect dog.
My son just got an all white german shepherd puppy, which is adorable. The problem is... now I want another puppy for myself.
I'll send you some pictures of Echo. He looks just like his dad. Big boy... last vet visit he was around 105-110 pounds. All dog....
Thanks Jennifer. Get back to me when you can.
Regards,
Todd McClellan

Carlie Vom Mystical Haus
My wife and I are definitely enjoying our time with Carlie. She's absolutely gorgeous and when we take her out for walks, many of the neighbors come out to admire her. Her obedience is really improving, and she's developed a great desire to please. She catches onto most things very quick. The part that amazes me the most is her speed and agility. That might have a lot to do with the hips she got from Ira and Hessel, and Hessel's endurance title. She has great ball drive, and seems to run about as fast as I can throw the ball. Honestly, she's without a doubt the fastest dog I've ever been around. Even in the deep snow we had this winter, she was always quick and sure-footed. But most of all, we like her personality. We've been taking her out to the store with us to work on her socialization.
I've been spending some time trying to convince my wife we need another dog. :)
Hope all is well for you and yours.
Thanks so much,
Frank and Kelly Herbst

Lillian Vom Mystical Haus " Lily"
We were looking at your web page checking out litters (as we usually do) and I realized we haven’t given you any Lily (aka Lillian VomMystical Haus) updates in a long time!
Lily continues to be a joy to us, she’s just over 2 years old now. She is medium in height with a slim build. Her food drive is not high, she eats in her own time. She does have a strong ball drive, however, and will search for it endlessly if she doesn’t immediately see it or find it in her toy box. She is very social with other dogs, but is gently protective of her family. If she feels someone in our house is being threatened (usually her little “sister” Layla, a pound puppy our daughter adopted), her protective shepherd instincts will kick right in and she will get in between. Lily also LOVES to run! If she sees me get my workout gear on, she immediately starts getting excited thinking we are going running together. I bought a leash called the Buddy System that works great for our runs. It’s basically an around the waist leash that frees my hands up. Once we get down our block, she’s all business on the run. In fact, she looks at me like she wants me to go faster! J She’s gone as far as 7 miles with me (in the winter time when it’s not hot), but usually we only do 3-5 mile runs together. She’s incredibly smart, and just a great great dog. We love her to death!
The pictures attached are from the past couple of months. #18 is classic Lily. She’s a momma’s girl and loves to cuddle on the couch, which usually results in her being upside down somehow! Comfortable to her, but not so comfortable to the person that has one of her doggy elbows digging into a rib or thigh! #20 is her just daring us to try to take the ball. She was ready to snatch it up and take off! #25 is a beautiful picture of her. And #29…was taken last weekend when we got slammed with about 8 inches of snow. You can see her to the far right and the smaller black dog is Layla. They were playing “king of the mountain” and Lily was king at that moment…she was just waiting to pounce on Layla and chase her across the yard in the snow. It was just so darn funny, they were out there chasing each other and wrestling each other in the snow for a good 15 minutes before they finally realized their paws might be getting cold!
I hope you enjoy the update and the pictures. I know you must get a ton of them from other people, but I like to think that Lily is extra special!
Take care,
Amy Peacock
Leo Vom Mystical Haus " Leonidas"

Good morning. I was browsing some old contacts and just thought I would drop you a note. Leo has grown to become a very handsome and smart companion. Kimberly and I are very happy with his attention to his surroundings and his overall strength, size, and his beautiful color markings. I will try to attach a couple of photos for you. I hope you are doing well.

Hanka Vom Mystical Haus
Just thought I’d update you on Hanka. She has completed several obedience classes and is doing well. She still has issues with other dogs and I cannot take her off leash when we go walking. But she is doing well with Paco and we walk together a lot. She is very protective of the family and a wonderful guardian.
Hope all is well.

Hi Jennifer,
Wow, has it almost been two years? I have to say, Lexa is the love of our lives! She is the smartest dog, I have ever owned! I swear, she knows the whole English language already, she was born with German, and now is probably.... working on French! lol!
We have not professionally trained her. Our aim was to never have her in competition but.... holly molly.... she totally could win every event, if entered! She is totally trained and then some and we never had to hire any help to do that.
She does have a Poker Face, though! She is very protective of her pack(our family) and I did not realize that until she was about a year and a half. She is fine walking in the park, no problems...other dogs can pass and I mean the meanest of the mean...and not a problem.
I have realized, though, no stranger can try to pet her! It sucks, because everyone that passes her, says she is the most gorgeous dog...can I pet her? I have to say, I do not think that is a good idea.
I found this fact horrible, at first. But than, I talked to a man at the park that had a full blooded GS adult. He explained to me, that a true GS's job is to protect you, right? That is her job, right? She is not a lap dog, dumb dog, her job is to protect you!
I got just the right dog for me...I will never be a missing person.... with Lexa by my side!!!! Shoot, I could walk at 4 am in the morning anywhere with not a care in the world! She does her job and then some! I feel so safe with her, at night! My husband, works second shift and I am all alone in the country, at night. If I scream, no one is going to hear me.
Since, she came into my life, that fear is gone!!!!!!!!!!!! She is the most adorable puppy (ok puppy to me, she is almost 2 yrs old) but can be one heck of a bad a$$ if you screw with her pack....and I love that about her!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for bring her, into our lives!

Orex Vom Mystical Haus "Orry"

Hi Jennifer, I was just looking through some of our pictures and saw these photos and thought you might like to see Orry doing some bite work. There is a picture of Orry and I, two with Orry doing bite work and one with one of the dogs in our club doing a bark and hold on me. Orry and I have been over to see Dean Calderon the last two weekends and man Orry is doing great, I will have his Schutzhund title hopefully in the Sping of 2010 and get his BH in the fall of this year. Dean Calderon will be here at our club training on Friday and I will have some pictures taken with Orry biting Dean and will forward those on as well.
How did your litters with Alex come out. I will talk to you later.

Hey Jennifer, We wanted to update you on how Panzer (Gwyn) was doing. She has exponentially increased in size.. last time we had her weighed.. at 5 months.. she was 55lbs. She will be 7 months in one week, and I bet she is close to 70lbs. Her trick arsenal has increased in proportion to her weight.. It now includes.. In english Come, Sit, Stay, Laydown, Belly, Rollover, Crawl, Speak, Whisper, Spin, Fetch, Find It, Shake, Take It, Jump, Bathroom, and more...... and in Czech she knows Come, Sit, Laydown, and Stay. We are absolutely amazed at her progress, she seems completely automatic. Anyway, I've attached a picture for you too. Hope all is well. -Brad Hankins & Erin Kirkpatrick

Hey there Jennifer!!!! Well first of all, Faith is the best GSD ever... and even more the best DOG ever!!! She has not only made me the happiest mom I could be but has taught me patience (you would have thought I learned that from my first child) but she also taught me that training a dog is ESSENTIAL to any type of dog breed and human! (yes, I've learned training is not just for the canine companion) She is absolutely FANTASTIC! And... you have helped me along the way and I am very appreciative of that. When I was first interested in the German Shepherd breed and was researching and trying to figure out if the GSD was the right dog for my family, I contacted you because I looked up breeders in North Carolina. You answered my questions without knowing I was going to purchase a puppy from you or for the lesser fact, that I was even going to choose a GSD as the "perfect" dog for me. You took time answering all of my questions, helped me understand the breed more and through doing so we became friends. That is the NUMBER 1 reason I chose you to purchase my puppy from. You took that time without needing me to spend money on one of your dogs.. but you did so because of your knowledge and love for the breed! And with that, you kept me updated with everything! We talked on the phone, we e-mailed all the time. You sent pictures and you even helped me pick out "my special puppy" because I wasn't close enough to come check her out in person. When it came down to pick up time... I didn't feel like I was picking up a layaway at Wal-Mart, it was as if I was coming to pick up a precious jewel of yours that you loved and nurtured and I should feel PRIVILEGED to be taking home with me! And I want nothing more than to make you a proud breeder to show you how well your fur-baby is growing up! Thank you Jennifer for all your help and when it comes to fur-baby number 2, I will definitely be coming to you! (Which now I know why people say German Shepherds are addictive... we're already thinking about another one!)
Your friend, Anne Doty

Hi Jennifer,
Just a note to let you know that Britka is doing well. We love her to death and vice versa. She is just the perfect dog! She is sensitive and ultra obedient. She doesn't like anybody else, however, with the only exception being our older shepherd. Sadly, Zoe appeared to have a stroke this summer and is fading. Britka is very attached to her and has learned from her, but we are wondering whether we can expect her to tolerate another dog. We have always had two dogs together, but feel uncertain now as Britka is adamant in her dislike of strangers coming onto the farm and we wonder whether that would translate into the same for strange animals. Any thoughts??
Your new puppies look so delightful, but we wouldn't want to make a mistake.
In any case best wishes with all your new litters. I can't believe people won't be falling all over themselves to have one. As always, we would be more happy to provide a more than satisfied reference since Britka is more than we ever could have asked for in our dog.
Best regards,
Susan Van Huis

Hey Jennifer here is a nice picture of me and Chopper at the training field. He is doing so nicely. Chopper is such a wonderful dog, I cannot complain about him. Chopper has gotten much darker that I thought he would but he is a nice looking male to me. I just want to thank you so much for letting me have him. I always knew he was suppose to be my dog and he is. I would not trade him for any other dog.
Thanks

Jennifer,
attached are some pictures of my little princess Copper... a.aka. my daughter..
just wanted to get in touch and thank you once again for copper... She is now a little over 1 1/2 years old and has such a great personality. she is such a character and such a wonderful family member... my friends all keep telling me that she is an excellent dog, and everyone that meets her and gets to know her falls in love with her and always comes back to visit, while also, she is excellent at keeping solicitors away from the house. we won't tell them that her bark is bigger than her bite.
she has really been a joy in our lives here in california. it amazes me that she does not have a typical dog's personality, and seems to know and understand so much more than a dog should... as she gives me the guilt trip, if we don't make it to the dog park. thank you once again for Copper (anja), and please let me know when you think you will have another litter, as i may be looking for another excellent friend from you...
thanks again,
Rich

Dear Jennifer,
I just wanted to let you know that Duff, previously known as Griffin, is an absolute joy. John and I could not have asked for a better puppy. We moved to Greensboro at the end of August and he's happy at his new house. I just wanted to send you some pictures so you could see his progress. He's almost six months (Oct 13th) and weighed 60 lbs at 5 months....but the vet says it's muscle, not fat. :) Timberwolf organics is some great stuff! Duff says hello. Thanks so much and congraduations on your excellent breeding skills :)
Very Sincerely,
Kathryn Erickson

Dear Jennifer:
I'm sorry it has taken so long to contact you but I had problems with my computer. Anyway I wanted to let you know that Kado is the sweetest puppy I have ever had. He is very loving, smart and growing up to be a big boy. I don't know if you remember he had huge ears, well he still has plenty of ears to grow into. I can't wait to see what he looks like in another year.

Hey Jennifer!
How are things going for you? Just wanted to give you an update on Ozzy...( everyone kept messing his name up with Gandalf, so we changed it to Ozzy) He is doing great, and getting so big!!! He's completely potty trained and tells you when he wants to go out, and pretty much poops on command..lol!! He can sit, shake, double shake (with both hands) and dance...he fetches ok, but he doesn't like to give whatever he's fetching back too well yet...his favorite toys are socks, his frisbee and the laser pointer. Anyway, he is a complete joy and everyone he meets falls instantly in love with him...i just had one question though..when does the green in his ear wear off? Just wondering...they're both standing up now and he looks goofy with one green one...anyway, just let me know. Again, thank you so much for a super puppy! We love him soooo much! Have a wonderful day!
Always,
Erica and Joe

Here are some pics of Super Max "AKA" Dorian
Three words sum it up!!! What a Dog. He's amazing, the way he is with the girls I have never seen before. I don't think they can do wrong in his eyes. I posted a message in your guest book a few months ago talking about how smart and stable he is. I'm happy to say he has'nt changed at all. Maybe a little better!!! He loves other dogs and people are only are strangers until he gets close and hears a reassuring voice from us that all is fine. We Love Maximillian and as you can see from the pics the girls are ga ga over him. That's all we wanted and you helped us find the right Shepherd for our family, for that we will always be in your debt.
By the way, Did I mention he Luuves Pillow fights?, He's not complete until he has one every morning with Carolais and the girls.
Our Best,

Hi Jennifer;
Sorry it has taken so long to send you pictures. Aris has really fit in with our family. He is so well behaved; we take him with us everywhere. The people at Home Depot are so impressed with his manners. His favorite place to sleep at night is with the boys. Right now, because of the renovating that is still going on, the boys mattresses are downstairs on the floor -- no problem for Aris to climb on up with his favorite boy of the night! He and our other shepherd, Laika, get along great, and they play, play, play. Our old retriever, Squirt, pretty much tries to act like Aris doesn't exist. Aris respects that, and leaves him alone. He is such a smart puppy! One thing that is so cute is that during the day if he is inside (especially when it is so flippin hot) Aris always rests on the air conditioner vents. He knows where the vents are in every room; that's where he flops down.
By the way, do you have any busines cards? Several people have asked me where I got Aris. Its funny; it seems like 30 to 50 years ago, a lot of people owned GSD. I say this because so many people have told me that they grew up with a GSD, best dog in the world, would love to have another, etc.
Hope all is well with you and your human & canine family.
Thank you so much for taking care of Aris and providing us with such a fantastic boy! I'll keep sending more pics . . .
-Andrea

Dear Jennifer, Hello! We hope that you are doing well- We have looked at the new pictures of all your new puppies and we have to say that they are adorable. Bailey Cain is a wonderful dog. He has learned so much already and he listens to all three of us. He is very patient and gentle. He is also extremely playful and will always grab his one of his toys when he wakes up and goes to sleep with his favorite ball in his mouth. Comparing him to our old German Shepherd, he is very patient, gentle, and kind to everyone. Our old one was anti-social and hated animals. Bailey loves everyone; he loves to meet people and doesn't even pay attention to other dogs or animals. He is extremely attached to us, and he makes us laugh everyday. He follows us wherever we go and he tells us what he wants. His vocabulary includes: treat, hungry, no, stay, leave it, paw, drop, car-ride, walk, bailey, sit, toy, easy. My daughter is amazed at how gentle he is and how much he really wants to learn. She told me that she will definitely get a puppy for herself when she moves out from you. I, too, plan to get all my German Shepherds from you, and I tell everyone I know about your site and how amazing the dogs really are. We couldn't imagine our life without Bailey. He is just so personable and very loving. He is only 11 months and we can't wait to see what life has in store for all us. We highly recommend you to anyone who wants to own a German Shepherd. Sincerely, The Novak Family

Hi Jennifer, Just wanted to give you an update on Gent and send some pics. He is doing great! We are calling him Jake and he is growing like a weed. He walks really well on the leash. He already knows "sit" and '"down" and we are working on "stay" but that is a whole lot of self-control for a puppy! I can't say he loves his crate, but he is getting better at staying in it for short periods of time during the day. His temperament is wonderful. He is tentative at first but then friendly with new people. He's been great with the neighbors' kids and he really loves playing with our mixed 4 yr old female dog. Hope you enjoy the pics. Susan

Hey Jennifer just wanted to drop you line about Dutch (Alpha). He just got his shot today and weighs 30 lbs. He is getting so big. Everyone at the
vets just could not stop telling me how good looking he was wandering
and kept asking where did I get him. I am getting ready to take him to
one of my co-workers club down in L.A. to see what the sport of
schutzhund is all about. Thx's again for a great dog

Hey Jennifer I just wanted to let you know that Alpha aka "Dutch" is
doing fine. His flight was a little delayed, but everything went
smoothly. The first night home was rough but the second night so far
no problems. It seems like crate training him is going to be a breeze.
He even looks better in person and darker. Out of all the shepherd
puppies that I have seen on the internet and other ones that friends
and family have purchased his looks are second to none. I am curious
to see what he is going to look like when he gets older. He already
has so much drive in him as it is I hope it continues as he gets
older. Thx's again for a great puppy I could not be happier.

Dear Jennifer,
I wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying Britka. She is such a wonderful puppy. She is very smart and willing and wants to be with us all the time. She learned our farm routine very quickly. She seems to like the horses and is careful around them but not afraid. Britka's days are mostly filled with farmwork and puttering around the fields with our older shepherd who she adores (and vice versa!). I take her with me in the truck to do errands so she will get off the farm and see other people. She has so much to do that she is sleepy at night. After her plane trip, Britka hated her crate but she was smart enough to sleep all night on a dog bed in our room right from the start which worked out well for all of us. We just couldn't be any more pleased with her, but the best thing is how pleased she seems to be living with us.
Thank you very much for sending us such a nice puppy.

Hey Jen! We made it home safely, and Minka and Angel are doing great together. It was such a pleasure to meet you and your dogs. I wish we could have stayed longer, but time is always an issue. Minka is sooo adorable. I can allready tell that she is a good dog. I would like to thank you for what you do, and tell you how much I appreciate what you have given us! We now have two wonderful pups, and we love them very much!
Thank you again and best wishes,
